AAS: IGEN Fundamentals of Equity in Graduate Admissions

This event is being cohosted by the Inclusive Graduate Education Network (IGEN) and the American Astronomical Society (AAS).

This workshop will present data and research about the role of typical admissions practices in maintaining racial/ethnic inequalities in graduate education, as well as strategies for more equitable processes and outcomes. All aspects of this session are rooted in current research.

This workshop will be 2 hours long; Format is mostly lecture-based, with some discussion; Content suitable for a variety of audiences (faculty, administrators, graduate students/postdocs)
